Topic: New Switch Oled Right Joycon disconnects.

Nintendo switch oled 1 week old. Right joycon disconnects randomly or the thumb stick or buttons don't respond. No issue with the left joycon.

Also when I cover the Right joycon with both hands, the switch doesn't respond to button presses.

I had a similar problem with my launch red/blue switch many years ago with the left joycon and now the oled one is doing similar for the right joycon.

Already tried, firmware update, resynching, turning on airplane mode and etc. Even moved the switch to another location.

Take it back and show the retailer the problem cause if this is hardware/manufacture error they have to replace it. Make sure you kept the receipt as well. Since this is Under Warranty as NL we can't help here since opening would Void the warranty.

I had the exact same problem with my white OLED switch model. The right joycon is far more unreliable than my left, disconnecting itself everytime I cover it up withy hands or behind my back. I took it back for a replacement set of brand new white joycons... Turns out those suffer the exact same issue. I'm thinking now that it has something to do with production of the new white joycons themselves. Two right joycons in a row having issues can't be a fluke :-/

@MattGigs420 Then take it back again til they fix it or get a new unit that guarantees no problem. This is still a warranty/hardware issue that NL users can't help with since it has Warranty.
