I (finally) learned how to do dunks and alley-oops, and that made a huge difference. More points and the lottery bar fills much quicker. Gotta hold that trigger button down a bit (and make sure your guy has good dunking ability.

Some reason the last 3 tournament stages are not unlocking for me. I have the first 3 all gold cupped. What am I missing?

Wow i was FINALLY able to beat Stockton & Malone and doing the challenge too!! Now i can finally move on!!

By the way honestly i don't get complaints on shooting: i'm starting to get a good number of perfect shots and i don't even miss something anymore. Can easily get like 15 points in a minute. It's just a matter of mastering it

@FGPackers Yeah scoring isn't as much of a problem anymore but some of these challenges can be.

Can't believe they have Robert Parish as a Chicago Bull in this game. Not only did he win 3 of his 4 championships in Boston, but he went into the HOF as a Celtic.

This game is pissing me off. Finally beat all the tournaments, but I was up by 17pts and then the cpu hits back to back 6pt baskets and then a 14pt basket. Absolutely ridiculous.

For the life of me, I couldn't beat one Final no matter how hard I tried. Just for the heck of it, I pulled it out of its dock and played the game in portable for the very first time and wouldn't you know....I finally won the Final. Coincidence, sure, but still...

One more thing I want to piss and moan about. How on earth is Shaquille O'neal hitting perfect 3pt shots all game long?????? It is like the player stats are just for show. If someone has a 2 for 3pt shots then they should miss most of their shots.

@Lethal A 14pt basket?? How does one pull that off? The most I've seen is 5 points.

O'Neal can barely hit a free throw then alone a 3 pointer. I take it O'Neal and either Magic or Koby was the match-up?

Actually I'm not even sure what team he's playing for on this game.

Beat and did challenge against Westbrook-Olajuwon and got enough XP to get a silver pack and inside i found Westbrook!! OMG a legend in a silver

Problem is that for 3rd time out of 5 no legend in gold pack...at least now i miss only Las Vegas tournament

You can unlock a multiplier that allows for 5x the basket. They actually hit a 16pt shot because it was a perfect shot on top of the 5x multiplier sitting 5ft beyond the 3pt line.

Quick kudos to the developer for giving the retro players the retro shorts. Now rolling with Danny Ainge and Alonzo Mourning, but Chris Paul and Blake Griffin (who doesn't miss a 3 either) are giving me fits.

I cannot get the timing for shots down at all. I wish there was some sort of color trail or highlight of the player to let you know if you are in the sweet spot or not. Sigh. Feels very much like NBA Jam with less free for all to me. In general I like the game overall but the inaccurate shots make it more frustrating than fun right now.

@Ryu_Niiyama You need a 7 or higher stat in threes according to Drtre81.

@GrailUK I'm missing Dunks with a person that has a 9 in the category and while I am better with making 3 pointers it is still more misses than actual points earned. I'll keep playing around with it but it is just frustrating. If I threw controllers I'd need a new one right about now (playing on PC until the Switch online is opened...or unless I decide to throw in the towel)
