I'm going with PS4 version since there will be WAY more people to play with online.
maybe, I suspect any half decent games will get a high attach rate on the switch until we have more of a library though (the same for most new consoles tbf)

@FGPackers: another benefit of living in Italy! Just waking up here in the States and NOA likely will not have Playgrounds available for a few more hours. Love to hear your thoughts and impressions before I download tonight. Curious about gameplay and first available players.

So i started playing it. Musics are awesome, game looks really good on my tv. And most of all gameplay is fantastic, really a lot of fun. Seeing all moves they do is crazy. I would recommend it, definetely. Obviously consider i did not try online yet, but it can only improve the experience. Unpacking for cards is fun, in one i got my starting duo with Wade & Ewing Can't wait for first gold!!
Cleared first tournament with all challenges and it was fun, satisfying and not easy at all. The final obviously the most tough, and i managed to win all on first try but only in last 30 seconds! And most of all i opened my first gold pack and inside it, with last one, i got LeBron James!! OMG!! I'm really loving this game!!
@FGPackers : Thanks--this was exactly the type of excitement I was hoping to hear! Sick that you got Wade Ewing and LeBron today. I was fearing that the big stars and cool retro guys would not come for a long time.
@bluedogrulez actually Wade and Ewing are "normal/regular" players ("epic" at best, but that's not so much a rarity type of player) that you can find by opening silver packs. You earn this by just leveling up. I got LeBron from a gold pack (chance to get players marked as "legends"). And you earn those just by completing tournaments, and they are not so much in single player. But i want to see if i can get gold packs in more ways. I think online may be involved in this, especially on the competitive side. By the way yeah, i'm really excited about this game, it's a lot of fun

Have you tried local multiplayer yet? with a single joycon each?

Finished second tournament and in the gold pack i did not find any legend unfortunately. In the third tournament challenges start to become REALLY tough, but at the end i managed to do it and in the gold pack i found Shaq!! So happy about it!! Now i'll play LeBron-Shaq until i find another legend!!
This game is tough to figure out where the sweet spots are. I'm having fun though and will learn it eventually. Load times are quite long, hopefully those can be fixed.
