Bandai Namco will release Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for Switch, the latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy includes Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. Previously released downloadable content will also be included.
A release window and price were not announced. The release of the Switch version is currently only confirmed for Japan.
I played one of these games briefly at a friend's house a while back. It was a pretty good time! Since then, I've really gotten into the Naruto series. This will be a Day 1!
Now . . . if only Bamco would port over Dragon Ball Fighterz.
**UPDATE: European release confirmed for April 26**
I'm personally totally indifferent to the franchise, but I think I've heard good things regarding these games. Hopefully if they're truly good, people enjoy them.

Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
So what is UNS4 and Generations? Wouldn't the "Trilogy" indicate the three games were it? Or am I missing something?
I preferred the Ubisoft Naruto games personally for the open world aspect, but did find the combat fun. I do have bias against it as the lovely people at Cyberconnect2 seem forever locked to making these.
EDIT: Also still waiting on Bamco's three exclusive Switch titles from well establisbed franchises that was meant to be announced last month.
These games are great fun. I think most people that have never played a Ninja Storm game will be blown away by the quality. CyberConnect2 are the best in the business when it comes to 3D anime fighters.
I'm surprised that they aren't porting the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy Edition instead.
That version comes with all 4 UNS games with the DLC.
I picked it up a couple of days ago on PS4 when it was on sale.
Maybe they're trying to get the Switch community to double dip? Strange.
It might be a size issue to. I'm currently downloading the games. The trilogy is 19GB & UNS4 complete edition is ~41GB (PS4).
EDIT: @XenoShaun There are 4 mainline games- UNS1-4. Generations is it's own thing iirc. UNS1-3 were PS3 games which were then ported onto PS4 as a trilogy. The games and the anime ran simultaneously, however UNS3 actually went ahead of the anime at some point. This meant that they had to improvise and the story deviated from the anime- so in a sense UNS1-3 are it's own thing & not cannon.
I have yet to play 4 so I'm not sure whether it rectifies the events of UNS3 or if it continues an alternative timeline.

@kobashi100 I could be wrong, but isn't there a dedicated competitive scene behind this game? If I'm right, undocked resolution might've been the necessary sacrifice to maintain steady FPS. Xenoverse 2 runs at 720p undocked, and it chugs occasionally. I don't know the technical details regarding specific polygon counts and so on, but they don't seem too different.

why is Nintendolife not reporting on this game now that its released. i bought Part 3 for $20 best $20 ive spent on a Switch game. full of content and has a good online mode. and looks great to boot!
I'm still not happy about this being a Japan-only physical release, and that physical release not having English support. One Piece gets plenty of physical releases but the more popular franchise, Naruto, doesn't? Did Bandai Namco think Naruto UNS wouldn't sell well? (As it climbs to the top three on the North American best sellers list)
Frustrating.
I'll be waiting for the obligatory eShop sale, get the whole trilogy for $20-$30.

Just downloaded the game yesterday. Had to first buy a 128 gig mini sdxc card. Thankfully found one that was $49.99 in store. Took over 5 hrs to download the trilogy!
Started playing it today and still feeling my way around the game but figured out how to get the lower lvl missions. For some reason, I started out with S and A type missions and got my a$$ kicked! Also trying to find the 3 little twerps within the allotted time is extremely hard! I've only managed to find 2 with less then 10 sec to find the third!
