I have had my switch for a while now and my boys always log onto my account to play - they have there user name but not registered yet own but now i'm trying to create their own account.
I have followed all the proper ways to register them under child account but then sends me an email and asks me to register again rather than type in my account details.
How is the best way to do this - my boys are 11 and 5.
Wish they would make this simpler ! or am i missing something ?
You have to create a account on Nintendo for them to access eShop games and sometimes there is online games like Splatoon 2 that might require a Nintendo account to play online. You should create a email account and a Nintendo account for each kids so they can log onto their own accounts so should you lock your account they won't have access to use your online accounts but using their own Nintendo account attached to their Switch.
