Topic: Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Didn't play at all today, too busy at work and needed a mental vacation watching tv for a day.

But the night before, I fought Amatsu, and I had never fought him before. Pretty rad monster. So unique. Really tied in to the whole Japanese Yukomo theme

My first time fighting Amatsu I had no idea what I was doing. I somehow was able to adept dodge most of the attacks and kill it without carting. That was the village one though.

Forgot to put my Switch in its case today.

Been a slow day at work too =(

New DLC releasing next week Wednesday on Halloween!

This game is on sale on EU Eshop for £34.99 If anyone is on the fence. I'm tempted to bite. I enjoyed monster Hunter tri on Wii, is this game similar to that?

@Tsurii I know you have to beat your first quest on each new Deviant (what I did)...and I think you need to have done at least one quest on the old ones as well (mine were done from before so that didn't apply to me).

@Tsurii Haha. At least now, the old Deviant quests are waaaay easier with G rank gear.

@FattyWhale_42 I have been playing Dark Souls, sorry I haven't been around to annoy ya =P

I'll get rolling again after at least one successful run through Dark Souls.

@ReaderRagfish thanks for reply. I returned to monster Hunter tri back end of last year and found that without online content the post game is quite limited. Does the same apply for Generations?

@Tsurii thanks for your reply. Actually leaning towards this game now. I was not a fan of the underwater boss fights (Remembers the angler fish as such; shudders!)

Hey I was wondering if this is the right place to ask a question.
I made the goldcannon (the Ahtal-Ka HBG) in hopes of going crazy with the crouching fire ammo. But when I went into a hunt I found out the ammo it says it uses for crouching fire, it can't actually use. So I was wondering if there was a way to get this to work that I am unaware of, or if I simply cannot use the ammo it says would work for it.
