Topic: Minecraft servers

Hi all,
My son has been playing Minecraft on his switch since his birthday back in November, last week he told me he could not get online. I tryed mario carts (which worked fine online) I rest the router, checked for updates and uninstalled game to see if that would work, still not working. We have an xbox one which is working fine on Minecraft, any help would be appreciated.

@EvilPig One possiblity, I'm wondering if your Nintendo Switch Online subscription expired, that could explain why he can't access Minecraft online features. You can check Nintendo Switch Online status in eshop. While in eshop, select your user icon (upper right) to open your account info page, scroll down to Nintendo Switch Online.

Exception: Some select Nintendo brand games(Mario Kart), and free-to-play games don't require a Nintendo Switch Online subscripition. Free-to-play games like Fortnite, Rocket League.

Note: Not sure when you got the Switch, but I think Nintendo gives you free 90 day NSO subscription.

I recall it's 7 day trial for NA for the NSO with limitations.
