For example, some things I have noticed are that the EMMI look similar to Diggernaut, The evil chozo leader from the lore pictures in Samus Returns is back, the stabbing thing that comes out of the EMMIs might be a DNA extractor, and that might mean they are tracking Samus for her Left over Metroid DNA from Fusion, etc. Leave more ideas!
