Forget about Prime 4, Metroid 5 is coming to Switch.

It took them many many years to formally announce the is one huh.

Maybe Earthbound 3 64 has a chance.

This isn't related to the rumoured one from years ago I presume?

It’s entirely possible they’ve been sitting on the overall story and structure of Dread since the gba.

But I assume it would’ve been a much different game had it been released back then.

Im more hyped about this than Prime 4

There now we got a new 2-D Metroid and we know Prime 4 is eventually coming. Samus is back!

This caught my eye .... Never into them before but I'll probably try this one!

Not a Prime fan, so this was awesome to see! This along with Pokemon is gonna make an awesome fall season.

And we finally get to see Samus post-Fusion. What a time to be alive!

I was confident we were getting a 2D Metroid, but I genuinely did not think they were making a Fusion sequel. They said themselves, its been 19 years, so I just never even considered it. It'd be like a midquel or something, and certainly Metroid Dread was a dead project so they wouldn't use that again.

Happy to be proven horribly wrong.

I believe Sakamoto said that this game was "the end of an arc".

...until they want to make a new one. That's what that means.

Though I am curious what that even means, story-wise. If anything.

Adam will be now an on-board AI on the new Power Suit, always with Samus.

Didn't catch the name of that white drone...but is anyone else getting SA-X vibes from that thing? lol

Yeah it felt like they were doubling down on the Sa-X chase scenes. Those were great so I'm cool with that.
