I'm interested in looking into some games similar to castlevania. I have Bloodstained and I've been considering Wallachia. Any other suggestions.

I heard there's a new game with Bela Legosi the original Dracula from that old black n white movie that looks very intriguing. Carpathian night i think. Anyone try it yet?

It has a terrible name, but Gal Guardians: Demon Purge is a fun one.

Maybe Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight or Minoria

Do you already have the zillions of Castlevania collections on Switch?

You have "Bloodstained". Do you have Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 1 & 2?

There is the upcoming Retroware game The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest.

Hard to get more "Castlevania-like" than those 3 games.

Here's a couple I haven't seen mentioned yet,
Infernax (the visuals aren't spectacular, but the game is very fun with satisfying combat, and a good sense of humour.)
Odallus: The Dark Call (Amazing visuals and music, with a haunting atmosphere. Great upgrade system too. I think this one might be my personal favourite)
Deelit in Wonder Labyrinth (Very similar to Symphony of the Night, but more of a fantasy setting.)

I started playing Carpathian Night. I'm not very far yet but I'm liking it so far. They nailed the visuals and sound design.

I'd skip Wallachia. It's alright as an action platformer, but the difficulty spike is rough. When you say Castlevania are you looking for a start-to-finish action/platformer, or a metroidvania, or just a spooky themed game?

Switch Physical Collection - 1,350 games (as of December 2nd, 2024)

@Magician
Well either classicvania inspired like the original style or Metroidvania.

Highly recommend this one.

At least 2'8".

I guess Hollow Knight is too unique and quirky to be called "Castlevania like"? But it definitely is an awesome action-oriented metroidvania with horror elements.
