Topic: Lonely Mountains Downhill

I couldn't see any topics for this and wanted to let people know how great this game is and talk about it. The video is a bit misleading because there's actually no music in the game at all and thats what adds to the atmosphere of just the noise of your bike and nature. You basically have some mountains to get down and you can make your own routes if you can find shortcuts and it controls beautifully. It's very addictive and you'll probably crash a lot but you improve and try to beat your times on a global leaderboard

Can second that. It’s extremely addictive. Controls can be tricky to get used to at first, but perseverance is key.... when you get the hang of it, you can’t put it down. So simplistic, yet challenging!

I've been playing a quite a bit of it here and there over the last week. Right up there as one of the best games I've played so far this year. Very satisfying.

@Jambomakaveli On my very first run I set it to the screen based steering as I was assuming that I'd find that easier but I crashed so many times, I then tried the same course with left/right steering instead just to test it out and didn't crash a single time, haha.

I found the steering really tricky, switched to the other steering, but by then I was getting the hang of the screen based, so changed back. I’m pretty used to it now.

I’ve unlocked the second mountain.... and as much as I love the different verticality and trails.... I’m finding the autumn sorta vibe really off putting, and find it makes it hard to actually follow the trail.

Looking forward to seeing what mountains 3 and 4 are like.

Just unlocked my first bike as well. Makes quite a difference.

DLC is out next week. Really looking forward to it

Damn, I had this on my wishlist but I can't stand games with no music. 😞 So now I'm not sure.

Its better without the music! You will be one with nature 😊. The game is truly fantastic and my game of the year since I picked it up on sale last month. Loving it.
