Topic: Local online

Hi, Ive been looking into getting a Nintendo Switch but I cant seem to find an answer for the specific question I have. Is it possible for me to play online with a friend from my switch, together with another pair of friends on another switch in another country ( Play together as 4, 2 pairs of 2 on separate Switches online )? Smash Ultimate, Mario Kart and Mario Party are the games in question.

@SaltyI You can all play together, but not anything like 2v2. In all cases it would be only a free-for-all.

@PolarExperience Thats great tho, is that only for smash Ultimate tho?

@Saltyl I know all of the games you listed work online like how I previously stated. Overcooked is not online. Try asking the guys at the Switch Recommendations Thread about some good online multiplayer games, the only other one I can think of is Runbow.

@SaltyI in Mario party you can only play minigames online, not the full board.

well now ur in luck!

Always read the back of the game if you got the Physical and it will give some indications of Online gaming for it. Otherwise you can always to the game developer site and see what they say about their game if it has Online access.
