I don't play too many, but a recent one that I enjoyed (that I need to play again since it was updated with fixes, keep getting distracted, lol) is Cult of the Lamb.

Another one I've played constantly is Death Road to Canada, I normally don't care for rogue games but Death Road somehow kept me interested. Cult of the Lamb didn't focus entirely on the rogue stuff so I ended up loving that as well.

...and of course, basically my first Switch game ended up being an indie.

Youtubers Life 2 made by indie developer U-Play Online S.L. from Barcelona, Spain.
And you know what?
Youtubers Life 2 gameplay felt like Story of Seasons style, except you are not farming.
Your job is uploading videos, either from video gameplay or interview or live streaming in the game to get more subscribers. More subscribers = more money you get from one video posted.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I don't think that game actually has anything to do with Google, I'm not sure how they got away with calling it that.

Decided to look on the official website and see nothing about Google at all, and yeah, it's indie.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika You'd think so, but also if it was affiliated with Google you'd think they would use the actual YouTube logo or at least mention it somewhere on the website.

Anyway, some of my actual favourite indie games: Celeste, Undertale, Night in the Woods, A Short Hike, Enter the Gungeon. Not the most original choices but, well, they're good games!

There is no actual Google logo in Youtubers Life 2. Every actual brands in the game got parodied such as Sony PlayStation = Honey PlayStudios, Nintendo Switch = Mantendo Swatch, Super Mario = Super Mariah, etc.
I have played Youtubers Life 2 on PS4 so I knew what exactly happened.
