SEGA AGES was a Nintendo Switch line for various re-releases of old SEGA games.

If it didn't discontinue, what SEGA games would you have wanted and why?

Sega hinted at the possibly bringing Saturn and Dreamcast games through the Sega Ages line for Switch, but alas it didn't happen. I would like to see current-gen ports for Panzer Dragoon Saga, Phantasy Star Online, Skies of Arcadia, etc.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

I would like to see the Sega Arcades of the Mid 80’s to Mid 90s.
This was a time when I was gaming the most.
Highlights for me would be Daytona, Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter, and most of the Sprite Scalers from the 80s (we already have 2 of my favourite arcades - Outrun & Virtua Racing)
I consider the Switch to be a very convenient console. Having my favourite games from the past (legally) in one place is fantastic.
It’s very disappointing that Sega decided to stop.

@Gerald
I know, right?

SEGA should have ported Streets of Rage 1 and 2, and Gunstar Heroes while it lasted.

Would have loved to see some of the old saturn games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Nights into Dreams and Fighting Vipers.
Not Sega but would like to see Namco port the mega drive version of Splatterhouse 2 as well.

Golden Axe The Revenge of Death Adder
Arabian Fight
Spider-Man: The Video Game (The Arcade Game)

As I don't think these have ever really been available in the home (the 1st was being put on something im sure but cant remember what but the other two not at all, granted the third has obvious licensing issues)

Marcalous

Virtua Fight, Jetset Radio, Crazy Taxi & Sonic Adventures as bigger games

@SegaSonicFan as those games were already on the 3DS, i expect it would not have taken much effort, but I guess people would complain

@Gerald
Yeah, good thing I have a 2DS so I can just whip it out just for the sake of those games.

So many missed opportunities. Outrunners, Daytona, Outrun 2/2006, Sega Rally, Phantasy Star 2-4, Alien Syndrome, Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder all come to mind, and that's without thinking about Saturn ports or lightgun games.

I’m mainly just backing up what others have said, but Panzer Dragoon Saga (an impossible dream, but let’s have it anyway), Skies of Arcadia, the arcade versions of the Virtua Fighter series, and perhaps above all, Shining Force III - with all the chapters that the West never got.

Alien Storm! I've been playing the Mega Drive version via the Mega Drive Classics collection and it's so fun, but the Arcade version looks amazing so would love that to get the Sega Ages treatment.

I love Alien Storm on the megadrive the master system and the arcade, recently purchased a complete Japanese Megadrive version as that's the version I had as a kid, I'd have loved to see the arcade one on Switch but what I'd like even more is a sequel I'd love to see the guys who did streets of rage 4 to bring us an Alien Storm 2.
