Topic: If I delete my account from the device

Can I log into my friends switch, download a purchased game, then delete my account off his switch and he can still play the game and get updates?

I don’t know why you would want to do that, but no it is not possible.

@Manta that's a interesting question I see a potential account limitations problems arising.

I mean you would be legitimately buying and installing. But problems arise when your email address is tied to more than one console. Nintendo no likey that Their system is designed to prohibit digital game sharing across multiple consoles.

eShop games are tied to the account that purchased the game not another account. For this you should contact NIN support on this matter.

OP. The reason I wished to do this is I plan to sell my switch off to my brother so I can buy a new phone. I was hoping to leave the games on there but I didn't want him to have access to my credit card, which I presume I could probably remove my card number from the account but it will take some stems to figure out how to access these settings
