Topic: How do I get into Diablo III

I got Diablo on the switch and I have no idea what I'm doing.
-Can the game be played to the fullest with only one player, or do I need a group to play it with
-Does the game develop further on, or does the gameplay stay consistent.
-What class is the best to play when starting off?

I don't have much to write down here.

@Tresszione Thank you for the reply. I'll try Crusader.
What class do you play as?

@Herbie I mostly have played Diablo by myself and quite enjoy it. There really is no best class as there is a variety of ways to play a class depending on what gear you get. I suggest checking out icy-veins.com for builds and what not.

I tend to find the necromancer probably the easiest to play as you can build it as either a melee character or a caster (ranger) character. The Barbarian can be pretty easy too as well as the Demon Hunter.

It definitely picks up as go, as is the nature with rps/action rpgs where you grow in power and expand your skill arsenal. I played as a monk when Dibbles 3 first came out on PC and had a blast playing by myself and with friends, and every now and then I play through with a different class.

Just give it a bit more time to gain some more skills. In terms of class, I wouldn't say any of them are complicated. The biggest question is if you wanna be up in enemies' faces in melee with monk/barb/crusader or if you like to pewpew from a distance with wizard or demon hunter or doctor.

@Herbie First just do the campaign. Pick a hero based on the preview in the selection screen as there they are described pretty well and you get to see some animations of their main spells.

Also think what do you prefer. Ranged? Melee? Pet class?

@Herbie I'd love to play. I'm in the same boat, didn't really get it, was hoping I would have a 2nd player to play with.
