No, but seriously. If you're just looking to clean them, alcohol does the job. Just don't soak it in alcohol, make sure it's turned off, and let it evaporate.
@Loonatic I'm pretty sure Nintendo doesn't approve any products for disinfecting. That's been the stance of most tech products from all companies. I welcome anyone who has info to the contrary.
I keep thinking this virus problem may result in UV light tech being applied to credit/debit card readers, or other common use devices with multiple users. There are UV lights used in some cases for medical devices for killing germs/viruses. But it's not quick. A medical UV light for a hospital that I saw on the news today takes 30 minutes to kill the virus. And they are probably expensive.
@WoomyNNYes Yeah, I’ve never seen a tech company approve any type of disinfectant use. Probably warranty reasons. “I sprayed Lysol on X and it doesn’t work now!!” Kind thing.
What we really need is those flashlights Alan Wake was always using. Or a typewriter I suppose...

@Loonatic I've been using alcohol disinfectant wipes for three years now with no problems.( The ones that you use before giving yourself a shot)
Thank you! Since you've done it for 3 years that makes feel better. There's so many conflicting opinions on using alcohol and off course Nintendo saying not to do it that I didn't know what to think. The only thing I can rely on is user experiences.
I just wet down the paper towel and wipe down my Pro and Joy-Con and had no issue doing this. This help me clean all the greasy finger oil off and allow for a clean controller.
