This is a troll. Everyone knows that the Mario one isn't Tetris! But I see how you could confuse the Mario Bros one for a Tetris game, so no hard feelings. Let me clear up the confusion: the game that was Mario Bros but becomes Tetris is, in fact, Mother 3. It has no multiplayer, unfortunately.

Assuming you do definitely mean Tetris 99 @dono31, no. It is online multiplayer only - you versus 98 other people. As @1UP_MARIO said, for local multiplayer, you'll want Puyo Puyo Tetris.

@dono31 It's currently only playable in online multiplayer with strangers, but an offline multiplayer mode will be added in the future as part of the Big Block expansion for the game, which costs £8.99.
