One year old and has already sold almost 15 million units!

Happy birthday!

Great first year. Had a lot of fun, especially with Breath of the Wild. However, a new Nintendo Direct would be cool.

@Agriculture the 14,6 million units sold was actually at the end of December, so it's very likely that it's now at around 16 million.

Yes, hopefully they release figures for how much it sold at exactly one year. And it was 14.86 million at the end of December.

I thought this would be about the game called happy birthdays.

I don't like birthdays and I feel like celebrating something like that is quite paradoxical but I guess for a gaming device something like that has a less controversial meaning than for people and at least it means more games! I prefer to call it anniversary instead of birthday anyway

Same here Happy 1st Year and others said it couldn't be done. Oh yeah then release the Switch 2.0 please...with HD and 4K OLED display......

I hope Monday brings some Switch goodness to mark the occasion. New gold coin rewards would be a nice gesture maybe a mini direct and the reveal of a limited number of new themes. Or maybe just nothing at all!!
