I have found some great comparison shots of dragon quest heroes 2 and I want to post them here but I was wondering if you can upload images directly on this forum or do I need to upload them somewhere and post a link?
you won't be disappointed I have the exact same shot on all 3 devices and it gives you a good idea of the differences and similarities.
I guess ill just use dropbox. You can see the switch version is much clearer than the ps3 and vita version. Lighting is much better and resolution. The geometry though seems to be the same as the ps3. Perhaps this was a straight ps3 port with enhanced lighting? Maybe they didnt want to go through the trouble of trying to get the right balance of level geometry and performance so just did the straight port with better textures and lighting
@Therad yea and they already know that the PS3 version runs good so instead of finding that medium balance they probably opted to just do a straight port. I know they probably could have at least got a mid range of polygon detail between ps3 and ps4
@Whitewatermoose I actually made these myself. I searched youtube for different videos and made the comparison images. I figured people might want to see them. Nice to see that the switch version looks much clearer than the ps3 version.

Well it better be, since the PS3 was released in 2006, over 10 years ago!
It would be seriously disturbing if the Switch can't even outperform the PS3.
@Jeronan A lot of people pretend that the Switch is a portable Wii U which was less powerful than a PS3.
We all know now that Wii U was as or a little much more powerful than a PS3.
We all see know with Zelda than the first game on Switch is more powerful than the last on Wii U 4 years after its release.
And this comparison help us to see that if the Switch is certainly less powerful than a PS4, it's in the same category. (PS3 and Vita are totally crushed by the Switch version).

@backudog Yeah I just saw it. I like that the resolution is 1080p but those frame dips to 20 fps using the same sort of models as the ps3 isnt good. I figured with those lower geo models it could at least reach 60fps at 1080p. Terrible! Now if it was the same models as ps4 and doing 30 - 20 fps thats acceptable.
