@Dogorilla You have to hold down either R or L (or ZR or ZL, not sure). One of them makes your putter shorter and the other longer. If you are already doing that, then I don't know. I am playing this now, and I just had one of those where even maxing out my long putter on every stroke, I still barely got it to the hole in time.

@Xyphon22 Oh, thanks! I thought ZL and ZR normally made your shot shorter, but I guess it's different with the putter?

@Dogorilla Yeah, it does a lob shot with your wedge, but it's different with the putter (I guess, I didn't notice if both buttons do the same thing with the wedge, but they are definitely different with the putter).

Picked this up when it was on sale and started playing it tonight. Seems interesting so far.
