I just downloaded Gear Club for Android... and it's far from beeing realistic. Maybe it's not so bad as Asphalt or Need for Speed. But it's not also even close to Project Cars, or Gran Turismo.
I really hope they will change that Swich version, to be more like a simulator (GT). But to be honest... i dont think so.
This game is listed at $44.99 on the eshop......this was a free mobile game and I didn't pay one cent.......where do they come up with that price. I will be waiting for a few reviews before I even think about paying that much. I was expecting at most $20.

Yeah was all in because I think racers are essential video games. For that price and the gameplay that has be shown so far.... I can wait. Looking at other options like the motocross games releasing next month.
I would really wait for reviews on this. Day 2 if needs be. Seems like a dodgy mobile port...well it is a dodgy mobile port with the MTs cut out and progression paths unlocked. Still, gameplay is king, so lets see if this games pulls it out of the bag!
This game looks mint. It's like a mini Forza Horizons. Not only does it have the arrows on the road like Forza it even has the rewind feature which rewinds a few seconds whenever you want if you crash.
And can I just say this game, graphically speaking, looks top shelf?

I'm really hoping this game is worth every penny. I'm not expecting GT or Forza. If it scores 7s I'll be happy as when was the last time a Nintendo system got a SIM racer?! I hope this is just the beginning of more SIM racers to come.

Calling it a SIM racer seems a bit stretchy. It looks arcade to me. I'm getting a Fast RMX vibe from it - superficially it looks decent, but perhaps hasn't got much under the hood.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Oh yeah that's right, there is a physical copy but GS exclusive. If it was Best Buy I would be all over it with that discount but I may just go eshop for this. I guess it depends on how big the file size is going to be.

That looks a lot better than expected. Not expecting anything to match the wondrous Forza Horizon games but it looks promising. There's plenty of room for a game to be not as good as Forza but still very good.
