Topic: Games similar to Sea of Thieves for Switch

Hey everyone,
I have been watching gameplay for a game called Sea of Thieves, made by Rare. Sadly, it is only for Xbox and pc and I don’t have an Xbox or a halfway decent pc. Does anyone with knowledge of the game know any games on Switch that I can get a similar experience? It looks VERY fun.

and not even that is like Sea of Thieves except for the setting.

Just open up the storepage on Steam and use the "similar games" recommendation to find a game that's also on Switch.

Meh, I just want a game similar to the whole ship thing from Assassin's Creed Black Flag. lol

@Joeynator3000 That will be Skulls and Crossbones I think it's called. It's Ubisoft's new I.P. that uses the Black Flag engine.

@Tasuki Yeah I know....but no Switch version. And I highly doubt my PC will be able to handle it.

@Tasuki Black Flag runs on an old Anvil engine. It probabaly runs on Snowdrop or Anvil2.0.

Everything someone creates are an "IP". Companies are lumping patents, copyright and trademark under one term.

Don‘t be too upset about not being able to play Sea of Thieves. If you’ve watched gameplay on YouTube, you‘ll probably have seen them play with their friends through voice chat and the like. It‘s a kinda game whose enjoyment and fun comes from (role)playing it with your friends, who‘d also need a PC capable of running it or an Xbox AND buying the game for 60 bucks or getting it for free through Game Pass. Alone, it‘s just not as fun and it gets dull very very fast. Same missions, same enemies, boring combat, playing with randoms is a game of luck (AKA hoping you get a crew that actually plays the objective, speaks English, cares about what you say and doesn’t vote you into the brig a min after joining).

The game definitely has potential to expand, improve and evolve but until it does, don‘t even bother with it. It‘s a dang beautiful game though.

I've seen IGN call Sea of thieves "The best virtual chat room" which, for a game that's supposed to be a deep Pirate simulator, isn't exactly high praise.

Well Ice Station Z on the 3DS is supposed to be a zombie survival game on the 3DS but you can use it as a voice chat app since it seems to be the only game with it naturally supported.
