The parental PIN to allow friend requests etc on Fortnite in not recognised, then after so many attempts, locks us out. I think its something to do with epic games accounts either not being linked or that we need to make sure the fortnite game is accessing the child account rather than mine. But I'm totally clueless and would love some tips please! Thanks in advance!

@Mumrah84 I redownloaded Fornite to try Rocket Racing, and was supprised by a message saying paretnal controls are on. I didn't remember my pin. The solution was to log into Epic Games' website for Fortnite to update the pin and turn off parental controls.

If the Switch platform was the first place you set up your Fortnite game, then you can just log into Epic Games website with your Nintendo account user & password.

I don't know if my parental controls were enabled because of Epic Games defaulting my profile, or if I had messed with my parental controls to help someone else.

Thanks so much for your help. I am such a dinosaur with tech but found this one really frustrating! I switched profiles on the actual switch, for me and my son..I think I had him as the adult?! Either way, the pin now works and he is now loving life being able to play online with his friends! Thanks again
