@OorWullie Oh dang, completely missed that about Dandara. I think my reasoning behind not searching was that the Nintendolife list of best upcoming eshop games had Dandara in the voting list, but not in the actual list.

Couldnt be more happy to be wrong! Still looks really cool!

@Therad I'm pretty sure that comes out next month, but I'm not sure.

Where did you hear that? On their website it says TBA as a release date.

@Late Yeah, I just don't see much talk about either game.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

Scrummer

@Therad I don't know why I thought it was coming next month (I must have been thinking of a different game) but the Nintendo of America site says Q1 2018, so I guess if it doesn't get delayed, then it should come by April, maybe May at the latest.

Wasn't Shakedown Hawaii originally supposed to come out last April? It hasn't been forgotten - the developer posted a gif of it on twitter last week - but that's quite a big delay.

The big one - the very first announced game for Switch: Dragon Quest XI.

No signs of the Switch version, no idea when it’s coming or what it’ll look like or even if Square Enix has given up on the idea of releasing it for $ome reason.

@StuTwo I hope we aren't going to start thinking every time a game doesn't get announced or goes quiet on the Nintendo Switch front that said developer or publisher is being paid off by Sony. It's incredible paranoia.

Then, if it was True, my hatred against Sony will became even Worst, despite i will own ps4.

@FragRed Maybe its not paid off, but Square basically saying nothing but "It's Coming!" is getting annoying. Though it's definitely forgotten, maybe through cash or through mismanagement.

No other games have any signs of being paid off so don't worry, Nintendo fans can get delusional sometimes but not all the time!

@ieatdragonz Yeah I know what you mean. Besides, if Square Enix were paid off, then we wouldn't even be getting Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2 since they were Sony exclusive up until recently. Hell the second isn't even on Vita so that should say everything. I can see Sony having exclusive marketing rights for some games, and maybe that is why Square aren't saying much about the Switch port. Or maybe it's waiting for a Direct to make the update.

@FragRed Relax - not everyone is serious all of the time (certainly not me ) and it’s not paranoia when they’re really after you...

In most cases you’re right - there’s no concerted campaign to cut games off from the Nintendo platform.

In the specific case of DQ XI though we have the word from Square Enid themselves that ‘adult reasons’ prevent them from even talking about it. That’s understood to mean one thing - some form of timed exclusivity deal or window which ties their hands.

I’m pretty confident it’ll come one day but suggesting that Sony might have cut a deal to ensure it’s more than fashionably late or hobbled from a marketing sense is far from being a moon landing denier or a ‘birther’.

Then, if that is true, your hatred against it would be even more ridiculous. I mean, to each his own dude, but come on, one thing is to not care or dislike, but "hating" is a bit too intense to be healthy. Well, I suppose you have your reasons, maybe Sony's president killed your entire village and made your hamser evil. Still, I hate to break it to you, but as much as I like Nintendo products, they are just a company an aside form a business standpoint, they don't care about you. I tell you this because I have seen comments from you talking as if Nintendo was this magical being that hugs everyone and tells stories to their customers until they fall asleep. You are free to enjoy their games and most of them definitely have "heart" dude, but Nintendo itself is just a company. Anyway, it's just a recommendation.

Anyway, I second Dragon Quest XI, however I'm waiting for the 3DS version.

The image brand recognition.
Now, when i see Sony, i see Dangerous adult machines. (Too Much adult games dominated ps4 machines)
But when i see Nintendo, i always remember their Kiddie image that Suitable with my Favorite things. (More Kid friendly games and Unique games despite there are some adult games, but still lesser than ps4 has)
And i Hate Adult image brand actually.

Btw, started from PS3, Sony had ruined my trust by overloaded adult games than PS2 had (I still like my PS2 games. Their games are much better in diversity and gameplay quality)

@Anti-Matter That's the thing, even if adult games are more frequent in Sony, Nintendo also has adult games so that's kind of hypocrytical from you and the same goes for Sony: it does have games directed to kids. "Adult" doesn't mean "dangerous", however obssesive behaviours like "hating" do. All I'm telling you is that hating is extreme and unhealthy but again it's just my advice on the matter.

Sony didn't ruin anything, they have other customers and aren't working for you, they simply did what it was needed to have success with more people. You are still free to buy just the games you want, and they don't do anything against you just like Nintendo isn't doing things for you. By the way, just so you know, Nintendo is clearly opening their arms to adult games more, so what will you do then? I recommend you to just be a customer and buy what you want, ignore what you don't want, and enjoy gaming without falling in a dumb company war and avoid unhealthy behaviour for you.

Damn, I just remembered another great looking indie that fell off the face of the planet. Morphie's Law. It really looked to be a great addition to the library, but I haven't heard anything since at least September.

Their twitter seems to say they will announce more in January so here's hoping.

Don't get me wrong.
I do have 8 PS4 games right now (Still looking for The Sims 4 PS4 as the Ninth games and looking the Tenth as Finale).
I did play my PS4 games by borrowing PS4 from my gameshop owner for several months.
And my 8 PS4 games are rated E until Teen (No Mature games at all).
I played Portal Knights PS4 oftenly when i visit my gameshop place.
Suddenly i ate my words when i realized FF XII released on PS4 & The Sims 4 on PS4 silenced my mouth.
I was shocked, my favorite games (Yaaay...) but on Daammn machine PS4 (Damn you, Sony. I have to buy ps4 to play The Sims 4, the Most Wanted games for me)

And, yes. I will buy PS4 Slim (I manage to get Slim White as my Best color) this year after i bought Nintendo Switch on 24 Dec 2017. I also play again PS2 games (Mostly Dance Dance Revolution, Rhythm games from Konami, K-1 series, Bomberman games, etc)
I don't know how to say but this is like between Hate and Love. Love the games that i choose from Sony but Hate the Adult brand image from Sony. I can't say hate my ps2, because it also insulting my Best PS2 games Dance Dance Revolution series. Whenever i play DDR, I always remember that games are NOT from Nintendo from beginning. Even DDR on N64 , Gamecube & Wii are still not good enough compared with DDR on PS2 & PS1.
Even my gameshop owner gave me advice to be Neutral between Sony and Nintendo, but still i can't forgive Sony for ruining my trust in the past. Even today, i still have some negativity with Sony brand despite not worse than last year. And for Nintendo, during year 2015, i was so disappointed with their Wii U games, like Nintendo was being drunk for making awful games. So, even for Nintendo, i still have very Big loyalty to them despite they had ever disappointed me, but not as worse as Sony did.
