@RupeeClock Yeah, I saw the update. I used to work at a company that had a print shop and I guess I'm just having trouble seeing what printing problem could cause those delays - especially delays of multiple years! I could understand a printing issue delaying something by a few weeks, or even a few months, but years?
If they've shipped out games before (I'm assuming they've shipped some games by now?) then they'll have templates for the all printed material including case inserts and cardboard slipcases, especially for the standard edition games. Whoever printed them previously should be capable of printing them again surely? The latest update mentions the stamping is still not right on one part - I'm assuming the stamping is for cutting the slipcase template but, again, if they've made these before (or had them made by partners) then I can't see what the delay might be - the tooling would've been done for the previous batch(es) of games. I could see a printer messing something up once, or maybe twice if they are unlucky, but to be at this stage of production and claim that all the issues are printer related is, I suspect, bull💩
The "Our standards are too high" line is ridiculous IMO, kind of reminds me of the interviewee saying "I'm a perfectionist" when asked what their biggest weakness is 🤣
@Bunkerneath
MindSeize's final 1.2 update was released in December 2023, so that should've been the go-ahead for the ROM to be sent out for game card manufacturing.
First Press Games haven't updated their Release Progress page since 5th March 2024, it's overdue an update given the numerous blog posts they've made since then. https://firstpressgames.com/pages/release-progress

Sydney Hunter is still saying Q2 2024, it hasn't been mentioned in any of their blog posts, I bet it doesn't come out before the end of Q2 2025.
FPG have updated their Release Progress page this morning saying the "already announced Collector's Editions are planned to be manufactured in April" with a list including the likes of Psychotic Adventures Origins, Crimzon Clover, Goodboy Galaxy etc.
Status for the regular edition of Goodboy Galaxy (The only thing I'm waiting on) now showing as "Assembling" which hopefully means they are nearly ready to ship. Interesting given the devs said on Kickstarter they had cancelled their contract with FPG, were no longer permitted to sell the game and they wouldn't be producing the physical version. To say it's a bit of a mess is an understatement.
