Well, I suggested waiting for your next party member so you can grind with her, @NintendoByNature .... It'll all even out in the end, though! It's more I just don't get on with Blue Magic in any FF game & then I dislike Quina & the way it learns it's version You'll get more than enough good characters to use, anyway & it'd take forever finding all the stuff it can learn! Eh, carry on to the character in question & update me then?

Cool, you seem to be liking it, at least, @NintendoByNature ..... That's the main thing!

@BruceCM i love it. It's just easy for me to miss a whole bunch of stuff in these games as im not used to them at all. It's a learning curve for me, at least. But I am enjoying it nontheless.

Yeah but fortunately a lot of the general things are very similar in most FF games, @NintendoByNature .... & imagine playing FFIII on DS, without access to the internet That version didn't even have autosave, let alone save-points in dungeons

Got the latest party member earlier today(Eiko), and I kind of wish quina could've been kept. But, maybe eiko will grow on me.

So just before I got eiko i fought the giant ogre like boss and absolutely crushed him, very easily. I guessed all that leveling paid off. Now i have my entire party at 25-26. And left the rubble town eiko lived at. Wondering if i should level up more, or continue on? @BruceCM

If you close your eyes and wish really hard, Quina will return.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

NintendoByNature

@Dezzy ehh turns out I'm more of a red headed claw wielding type of guy after all

Might as well carry on, @NintendoByNature .... Next boss isn't too far away, see how that goes!

Cool, @NintendoByNature .... That Soulcage? You got the final party member yet? Since you seem to be around there

@NintendoByNature Quina goes away? Maybe I should give the game a chance again someday! I hated that thing with a passion.

Currently Playing: Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition

BruceCM

Well, you can just never recruit it at all, @Ralizah .... Or do so & only have it in your party when you're short on anyone else

@BruceCM yep soulcage... with ease 😉. I'm glad i did that grinding now, it's making the game easier. I just dislike knowing when I should grind ya know? But, I think im at a good spot now that I should be ahead of every major boss by a slight bit to be comfortable.
@Ralizah it did for me at least! And blasphemous. Any character that only thinks about food is a character I can sign off on, as that's pretty much all I think about IRL lol

BruceCM

You'll probably find you're about the right level for the next boss without grinding, @NintendoByNature .... See how you get on Let me know when you get your last party member? Or whatever else is the next significant step

@BruceCM If I ever go back to it, I'm sticking to the main story. Hate Quina, the chocobo mini-game is tedious, the world map looks like Silent Hill... but I don't feel right not playing it. I've beaten almost all the other games in the series.

Currently Playing: Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition

BruceCM

Well, missing Quina really won't affect the story, @Ralizah .... I don't like IT much, either

@BruceCM well if you count amarent(sp?) Yes I got him. And he is awesome. I just touched down in Alexandria again last night. So I'm well passed the halfway point in the game i believe.

@BruceCM very good! I did however, have to put it down for a short while last night to fire up paper Mario.

But as for ff9, I rescued garnet from the tower. And saved shortly after that. So I dont know where my next destination is, but im excited to find out.

Ooh, did you like the card game bit....? @NintendoByNature
