I know, I know... it’s never going to happen, from what I can gather Microsoft are in fact working on a new fable game without lionhead - I just can’t help but dream...
Fable 2 is one of my all time favourite games, flawed, but I played it at an important time in my life and it helped me through some rough times. I would love to see the trilogy on the switch with updated UI and a few tweaks/improvements etc.
I don’t know enough about ownership and licensing, but I’m guessing molyneux doesn’t have a say in the future of the series?
I just think it’s a perfect series for Nintendo and would be wonderful to play on Switch.
@Hippy_Pirate_89 With the way MS and Nintendo have been cooperating lately, I wouldn't rule it out entirely. But Fable is one of the few MS pseudo-exclusives and a pretty big name from them.
Then again, I could see them giving us the older games, right before they drop the new ones on XboxX next year, as a way to lure Switch players into buying an XboxX

I wouldn't rule it out, but it could be something that really taxes the hardware of the Switch. Anything developed on the new Xbox/PS that taxes their hardware at all is gonna be REALLY tough for the Switch to do. Those puppies are gonna have AMD RDNA2 gpus in them (for non-PC people, those are graphics cards that aren't even available on PC yet) - they are going to be VERY capable machines operating on chipsets that are way more refined than what the Switch has.
But, as you said, Microsoft is more about the "play anywhere on anything" lately, and Fable is a franchise that is a bit cartoony, so maaaaybe they won't go overboard on hardware requirements.
I loved fable 1 and lost chapters. The rest were not exactly what I was looking for, but still decent. When I played witcher 3 for the first time, it gave me that fable 1 feeling again. It was great.
I honestly hope they add fable one and fable 2 on switch it would be the best feeling ever to know that I will have one of my most favourite and loved games of all time portable and I can take it anywhere
