Topic: Ethernet to USB-C adapter for undocked Switch

I bought a Benfei ethernet to USB-C adapter to have a wired connection with my Switch when undocked, because I saw some posts about how ethernet to USB-C adapters do work.

But the one I got isn't fully working. It is able to recognize the connection, but with automatic settings it isn't able to obtain IP address, then with manual it isn't able to connect to the DNS servers.

Could someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong, or if I have an incompatible adapter?

I doubt it just simple as a plug in ethernet since that requires the dock interface to use ethernet connections. More like incompatible devices so unless the sight can state Switch USBC connection to ethernet I require it.
