I’ve notIced a selection of games on switch eshop for 89p. Are there any worth downloading or is there a reason there 89p.
Obviously I get for the price they aren’t going to be exactly like mario but if you’s could let me know what’s worth picking up and a sentence or two about the plot & gameplay.
Happy new year @boyd88 ! I'm in the US, do you mean priced for 89 pence? If you see a bunch of games for cheap, they may be from a certain publisher/company -example: "Qubic" or "ubisoft", etc.. Since other english speaking regions may have different currency, let us know what game company they are from, and we may know the games you mean. There's also the outside chance, that all regions don't get the sale price at the same time.
@Joeynator3000 89p resolution, you rascal I was confused too. I think he's talking about games on sale , like for under a dollar, but in the UK eshop.
@boyd88 Basically what happens is a game starts at a certain price and then drops to very cheap in a sale to get attention as all games on sale appear in the "Current Offers" section of the eshop. People then buy the game because it is very cheap and then it appears in high chart positions (the "Charts" section of the eshop) which makes it sell even more putting it at even higher chart positions.

I'd recommend:
Crossniq+ on sale for $1
Downwell on sale for $1.50
Also take a look if Akane and Mana Spark are on sale, they're somewhat good games that get crazy discounts sometimes (it's the same publisher from most of those you've listed, so there's a chance, they do it to avoid getting buried by other games)
Also there's on YouTube the Budget Gamer Channel, focused on cheap Switch games
