Hello, I bought a bluetooth transmitter for my Nintendo switch and I am trying to connect my wireless headphones to it, which works for sound. I am trying to play with my friends online (Fortnite) and I could hear them perfectly, but they cannot hear me, I have been at this for a week, so any help would be appreciated.
If that doesn't do it, also check the Switch console's parental controls. I'm not sure that's your issue, but make sure "communication with others" must be enabled.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have a wired headset (beats) with a build in mic that works perfectly when I connect it to the console, I could hear my friends and they can hear me. So, does your recommendation in the previous answer still apply? Or, does anyone know if this is a wireless issue?
@JoshDK1 I've helped a few people get their voice chat running with Fortnite, and it's always come down to one of two things: Parental Control restrictions, or the in-game voice chat settings. If you don't have parental controls set up, you can disregard that bit. So, yeah, I still recommend what I said above, regarding voice chat settings in Fortnite. I'll admit though, I don't think I've seen the issue where your friends can't hear you. Nintendo support points you to Epic Games for issues regarding voice chat. If it comes down to it, Epic Games was pretty quick to reply to an email when I sent them a message this past winter - they replied within a couple hours. I don't think they are 24 hour service, but they were same day, if you catch them.
