Topic: Can't play Booster course pass levels in Mario Kart?

Hi,

I must be doing something wrong here and need some help.

I just purchased the Booster Course pass to upgrade to the new levels.

First we tried offline play with 2 players. While setting up the level none of the new levels where visible. Only the old ones.
So we chose one player mode and there we could see and play the new tracks.

Okay, a bit confused we chose online battle but everytime we get to vote on the new level we only get to choose the old ones. We have tried many times now hoping that the new levels will show up on the next round but no luck this far.

I feel a bit stupid here but what am I missing? How come we only see the new levels in singleplayer offline mode?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe try manually updating the game from the home menu to make sure that you’re on the latest software version? (I think I read about people doing this when the DLC first came out, no idea if it still works in this situation.)

Ok so I managed to narrow it down a bit more. I can see the new levels online if I choose singleplayer. But when me and my daughter want to play battle together online only the old courses are availible.

So my issue both online and offline is that the new courses are only playable if I play in singleplayer.

Am I missing something really basic here?

Oh no! So you mean that the new tracks are only for racing and no battle?

@Admtah Yeah, the booster pass only added new cups for racing, nothing new for battles. When the booster pass was announced & advertised, it only ever showed new cups/tracks for racing. Although, I would agree that new maps for battles would be welcome.
