I loved the previous Zelda games because they were traditional and not too difficult. While the open world setting in breath of the wild is pretty cool and a good new direction for the series I'm really turned off by it's difficulty. It's a shame because the game is gorgeous and has vast exploration which I would love to experience. It would have been good if Nintendo added an easy mode for the casuals so I wouldn't miss out on this game. Any advice.
Gyrozeppeli but I've read the weapons break easily and the amount of damage you get from bosses and enemies are ridiculous. Things like getting one shot by bosses and enemies even when having a lot of health. No more hearts from pots but needing food to survive. Which is alright but getting one shot and weapons constantly breaking is frustrating.

@Fujin honestly there are so many weapons in the game it’s not really an issue. You’ll get to a point where you throw them away to make room for better ones. Also, keep getting armor upgrades. If an area is too difficult you likely missed a town with new armor of haven’t been upgrading. You do eventually get an un-breakable sword btw
Can you save anywhere in the game? I will actually buy it because I don't want to miss on the game. I was thinking to learn different ways to approach the game through guides. Not fully using guides but learning new tactics and strategies from other videos for this game. I hope i like it and not quit though. I will try my best.

@Fujin You are able to save anywhere in the game, plus the game auto saves a lot. Bosses just require a lot of strategy and hearts/stamina from shrines.

Only about a heart to half a heart from Bokoblins, depending on the armor you have. As a side note, armor is permanent and does not change in durability, unlike pretty much everything else.
