Topic: BOTW Master Kohga Glitch?!

I’ve beaten the game several times, but just recently picked it back up. Last time i played was Dec 2018, the glitch was there then, i thought that once there was a new update it’d be fixed... nope. And I called to report the glitch and all the guy did was try to tell me how to beat Kohga, like bro, ik how, i just CANT. He loses 1/4th of his health and then stops losing health altogether. I then thought “max, it’s prob just your switch” no. I’m on my brother’s right now and the glitch is STILL there. I’m gettin peeved because i cant 100% the game without the damn thundehelm and i cant get that if Kohga lives.

@dropdeadmax This boss at the end of yiga clan hideout? Below is the clip I found of the boss you mention. It's been a while for me. I recall that boss, skimmed the video and don't see why you need lightning resistance of the thunder helm. If you still need electric resistance for where your at in the game, theres that rubber suit that reduces electric damage.

@Tsurii this question had been sitting without a response for 13hrs. I tried to help someone out when nobody else did. The second somebody makes an honest, friendly attempt to help, and you troll?

I pasted a of the clip boss of that name. Was I looking at the wrong boss fight? I'm quite ok with being corrected.

@Woomy_NNYes no, right boss, but you GET the thunder helm from beating him but, for me, he stopped losing health

Have you tried a Sword Beam with your Master Sword, @dropdeadmax? This helped me, when enemies got stuck between different phases.

@dropdeadmax now i get it. So you've tried that fight multiple times, but the glitch always freezes the boss's health, essentially making the boss invincible, or preventing boss fight progression.

You've probably tried something similar, but have you left the boss, traveled somewhere else, enter a shrine or something, and come back to redo the kohga boss? In an effort to clear the glitch?

Real long shot idea here, but the trail of the sword glitch screws s**t up , maybe try the trial of the Sword glitch before kohga to try to clear the error? Have you tried that?
