So IF you have ever played the original Wario ware for gba You will notice that At the end wario receives A piece of golden poop.In Botw WHen you collect all korrok Seeds You get HEtsu gift which is almost identical to that same piece of poop.THis might be a hidden reference or just a coincidence.Let me know what you think

Exactly! Its more a play on words, like the Japanese word for poop is similar to the word for happiness. That's probably also why there is a smiling turd emoji and a restaurant where you eat out of a small toilet.

But of course its also just as simple as being happy with something of no value, lol.
