Went into my local Walmart tonight and decided to look at the video game section and came across this
Obviously not suppose to come out till tomorrow and not Borderlands but might want to check your local Walmarts to see if they put Borderlands out yet.

Still waiting on Mortal Kombat XI S 14gb update to install so I can swap back to my 1TB micro SD and start installing the 2k games. Ugh. Gonna take all night at this rate.

I’m not who you asked but, I can tell you Borderlands is much like Monster Hunter inasmuch that, while it’s a superb multiplayer game, either online or local wireless (or even splitscreen in the case of Borderlands Switch!) it’s also a very, very good single player game.
I put in a ton of hours single player back on Vita, and then on PS4. It’s one of those rare games designed to do both equally well (although I would argue playing with friends is always more fun, in any game).

And ya, the entire game is built to be single player. Even raid bosses can be played solo, afaIk. But then again I haven’t really dived in to playing MP. All I know is I played a ton of single player and nothing ever stopped me and said that content was off limits.

@aresius As long as you spec and equip your character right then the New Game+ is not hard at all. The only thing that will make NG+ hard is it you didn't spec your character right cause they figure by the time you get to NG+ you know what you are doing.

Ugh. Not getting handsome collection until Monday, since my physical copy was delayed. I’m not buying digitally since the physical includes a digital code. I did buy Borderlands 1 digitally though, so I’ve started playing that.
And it’s really excellent.
Just remember guys, the Switch Lite has that gyro bug where aiming stutters and jerks. Reboot the Switch Lite and it’ll be fixed. Nobody knows why this happens but there’s countless reports about it. And it happened to me in this game too. After rebooting gyro aiming was perfect. It does need to be put on the highest sensitivity though (10).

And........ I bought it again. I probably won't open it yet cause I will definitely need a new SD card, still use the one that came with the Switch. So I will need to figure out which one I need and how to put everything from the old one to a new one before I play it. Still not in to big of a rush as I literally have this game for every system available besides PC and that's only cause I don't have a PC that could run it.

@Tasuki
Open new SD packaging. Do not insert into the switch to format. Do not format on PC. Do absolutely nothing except copy your data onto it from the old SD.
Then insert it into the switch and power on. It might take a minute for the cloud icons to disappear but all your games will be there and register. I’ve done this multiple times as I upgraded from 256 > 400 > 512 > 1TB
In my experience, if you format first and then copy the games will not show up even though the data is on the card.
I knew you were gonna buy this as soon as you posted. Pro tip: take advantage of the Gyro aiming and you’ll have a much better experience than any other platform. Sensitivity on 10 seems to work best.

I played the Vita version. And I have a lot of good memories with it, which just goes to show, even a terrible looking port that runs at 20fps can still be fun.
That being said, my goodness does the Switch version look like an entirely different game. I can’t believe how far handheld gaming has come these past few years
*also for the record, Vita version does not run at 544p, it runs lower, and PS4 version does not run 1080p, it runs 1080p dynamic, so same as Switch, but 60fps
