I was trying to replace my launch Switch's backplate last night and the 4 rear corner screws just started to fall apart. I was able to get one of them loose and a replacement screw in, however the other 3 are now stripped. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so were you able to get them out?
If not, the tip of the screwdriver may have worn down and not be able to remove the screws anymore, this is quite common with the cheaper Triwing screwdrivers.
You might wanna try a different Triwing screwdriver and hopefully that will help you get the screws out.

It was the one that came with the backplate. The screws just melted. It was weird. I ordered another precision screw driver set and new screws to see if I can still get them out.
@WhiteTrashGuy there is a driver bit that can restrike a screwhead but it's a bit heavy duty and I wouldn't fancy using it on a switch.
Normally for a stripped screw, id use a size bigger and apply firm pressure to the screw and turn slowly until I felt some grip. Stop if you can feel the driver slipping or moving freely which normally means it's stripping more screw. It's delicate but firm work and you need to get a feel for it to be honest. Sorry I can't be of more help, it's just one of those things, hopefully the new driver set will give you some more options.

I bent it and rocked it back and forth until it gave way. Then I used pliers to rip the remaining pieces off. It was terrifying, but the screws were stripped so I had no choice. I then ordered lightly larger screws from Amazon for the bottom holes so they would be a little more snug.
