Ninjara sucks.

I did meet one very good Ninjara. Not like he destroyed me totally, but man. He had moves I never even imagined were possible, like getting too close to an opponent while said opponent is using a special.
I predict Ribbon Girl won the most matches, though. People are really getting to grips with her multiple jumps and insta-charges.

@Vee_Flames I noticed a lot of ribbon girl deaths with the head boss though, and I didn't fare much better myself with multiple others...

It seems this game has quite some depth to it we've yet to discover...

This story has as many twists as that zebra's GUTS.

ARMS' review scores so far are about what I expected them to be. As in being around Splatoon's score., like high 70s to mid 80s. So far on Metacritic its at a high 70, which is pretty good.

Sucks that the game doesn't have any in game story for each character like I'd hoped. I hope this is like splatoon where it launches sort of Barebones but is updated throughout the year and becomes a necessity for switch owners.

I hope they're not trying to purposely limit content available at launch like they did with Splatoon early on. Having content locked away on disc was a big annoyance in the game, especially since the game launched with so little content to begin with.

@-Green- That is the most likely scenario considering their plan to periodically release content. No doubt it's already done, just held back to keep the game fresh over a longer period of time. I love and hate it at the same time, hah

ARMS - Meet Ribbon Girl (Nintendo Switch)

Looks like Ribbon Girls legs are gonna snap in half in that thumbnail, lol.

With the school year done, I can finally get a switch, and this will be one of the first games I get for it, alongside Mario Kart 8 DX and MInecraft!

What has sold me on the game, well, it's the cool gameplay modes, the working motion controls, and well, you know who...

From the first time I saw Twintelle, I thought that people would go nuts, bolts, and bananas over her. Just such a cool character design!
But I feel all alone because I like her for her personality and things like that, as well as being in a minority, while everyone else is like "OMGosh she so thicc" and "OMGosh she got a big and perfect rear" (trying to be safe for work here), and I am like, "okay, that too". After all, it's human nature to think like that a little.
Also, I did not let Etika's antics get to me, and I just think sometimes that if I could have warned him about her when she was first leaked, I would have stopped his crisis

Overall, I have to say that I am happy that Ninty is allowing a character like Twintelle into the game. It shows that minorities in games are good.

P.S. No contest, she is my waifu. And you should not be too ashamed about choosing her as your waifu.
Everyone is different, and we should respect the differences.
Also, Etika says he's loyal. And I'm like, NO YOU ARE NOT. He ditched Ribbon Girl for Min Min. But I am loyal. I passed up both Ribbon Girl and Min Min in hopes that there would be a better person to pick. And somehow, I got my wish. My story is that I have never had a "waifu" before, And I vow to have only one at a time.
P.P.S. Also, CND too. I live just 2 hours away from him!

Do the fighters have hands?

@-Green- The content lock served a useful purpose on keeping the game fresh (hah!) by continually upending the meta right to the end of it's heavily played era. When we look at some other fighters that limit content and then sell it later as DLC that's just a money making scheme that HAPPENS to serve a useful purpose of refreshing the online play. Releasing the content creates kind of a flowing online experience. It's kind of annoying if you're mostly interested in single player, but for online play it definitely keeps the environment changing.

@BLP_Software shudder Why is it that such an innocent seeming game has such horrific connotations just beneath the surface?

@NEStalgia It's a Nintendo game. Sure it gets labelled as childish and we get crap for it, but if you even remotely scratch the surface its usually horrifying.

@BLP_Software Ribbon Girl looked like she had hands in that picture of her signing Biffs shirt, assuming that picture is canon anyway.
