Topic: Anyone getting MGS master collection on switch?

I'll definitely get this at some point. It's cool that the original MGS and MGS2 is playable on Nintendo hardware for the first time as well as the MSX games. Still unsure if i should just buy digital off the eshop or go for the cart. I hear the only games actually on the cart are the Nes and MSX games. Kinda of a wasted cart LOL.

Anyway who's getting this? You going cart or download? Does the Eshop version come with all the same content as physical?

Kinda wish Twin snakes was on there. Honestly it's hard to go back to the PS1 original after playing twin snakes.

I was going to at launch but maybe on physical sale or if I trade in a few games.

I probably will eventually. I'd likely have to go digital though and I'd also probably buy them separately.

If it gets another run physically from a boutique publisher or something, then yes. Otherwise, nah, they done messed up. Maybe we see a better release for Switch 2?

I'm more interested in ones I haven't played, Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 5. I skipped the PS3 PS4 generations. So, I'm hoping for a Volume 2.

I thought Metal Gear Solid 3 was amazing when I played it in 2012.

Yeah MGS 4 and 5 better be on volume 2. I bet switch gets passed up but if they weren't planning a volume 2 they wouldn't call this volume 1.

I have it preordered. The problem with it doesn't help either but for Preorders bonus that either buy or not.

I'm waiting until there's a big sale, then I will get it digitally since not every game is on cart to begin with.

I got mgs 1 but it needs a fix for jittery fmvs i'll get 2 and 3 at somepoint too

Aside from Peace Walker, the MGS series are games I'd rather watch a Let's Play of rather than play the games myself.
