do you think in this holiday season or in the beginning/first half of 2021 Animal Crossing New Horizons will surpass Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and become the highest/best selling Switch game?
I feel like most people who plan to get it will have it already, and most new switch owners will probably buy both, so I reckon mario kart will stay on top
I'm not sure I understand the hype about Animal Crossing. I never played the originals but I did play New Horizons at a convention just before it was released, four of us on the game simultaneously (myself, two random kids and a Nintendo promo worker talking us through it).
We were on for maybe 15-20 minutes, if that, and I just didn't see the huge deal in it, and at times I was bored ***** and wanted to walk off, but that would have been awkward, so I stuck it out.
Not saying the game's crap by any means, but is there something I'm missing here? It seems to be so highly regarded and loved by a lot of people.
@Tendo64 this video explain the origin/history of the Animal Crossing franchise and why Animal Crossing New Horizons become a cultural phenomene and the only game that could surpass Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and become the highest/best selling Switch game.
