Topic: Animal Crossing: New Horizons

So I read some things online about balloons to try to get some of the recipes for this season but they refuse to spawn in so i dunno. Spent way too long on waiting for balloons, nothing's worked like it should. Hate.

I was gonna get my clown fish model today, but turns out I can't give my fish to CJ during fishing tourneys. I just learned that today, lol.

@BrittGOAL14 @kkslider5552000 Yeah the seasonal DIYs seem to be rather rare for my liking. I did get one from my friends, at least! Hopefully I'll find more.

So I finally got the last villager that I kind of wanted to leave to go (I was okay with him staying, but I preferred a new one). So today I bought some Nook Miles tickets to try to get a replacement. I wanted to limit it to a fairly small number of possibilities so I thought it might take awhile, but I definitely had more than 1 or 2 I was good with. I think I started with about 90,000 nook miles. I now have 1,000 and I finally settled on one I was good with but not ideal because I don't have enough miles left to buy any more tickets. And there was one potential villager that I ran into 5 different times. That process sucked. But at least I hopefully won't have to do it again.

Use Amiibo card to get specific villager and kick unwanted villager quickly.

@Anti-Matter I don't have many amiibo cards. I thought about it with Stitches, but decided against it.

@Mr-Fuggles777 My three criteria were he needed to be Lazy (the one I just kicked out was my only Lazy), it had to be an animal I didn't have (I want 10 different ones), and the one that made it the hardest, I only want fun and unique animals (no cats or chickens or bears or anything like that). I finally got and chose to accept Marcel the dog because although he is a dog which is common, I love dogs and they are awesome. Plus he is a clown/mime dog with an awesome reference for a name, so I am good with him. I would have preferred the koala or ostrich or something like that, but oh, well.

Stitches Amiibo card can be obtained from Amiibo Festival bundle, with Rosie and Goldie as well.

@Anti-Matter Yeah, I have the Stitches card. I was saying that was the one I was thinking about using because he is a Lazy and a pretty cool one so I would have been fine with him, but he's just a bear so I decided to try my luck for a better villager on the mystery islands.

I have a lot of items, diy cards, outfits dropped on my island.
I can pick them whenever someone need the items.

I just recently started playing Death Mark, and I feel like that game is a metaphor for my Animal Crossing island. I am the island, and I am being devoured alive by murderous flowers. They are everywhere, taking over my whole body. So if @TimGibsonPBS or anyone else wants some flowers, you are free to please come dig up whatever you want in a vain attempt to save my soul from this fresh-scented torture.

On a more positive note, I finally got the Nook Miles reward for earning over 10 million bells from turnips, and all by only selling on my own island without having to scour internet websites for the best prices. It's nice to not have to check turnip prices twice a day or find a way to make sure I track down Tina Turnip early every Sunday morning.

@TimGibsonPBS Sure I can help you out with those! My island is literally covered with flowers but I'll need to count how much I've gotten. I've been keeping some DIYs that all my friends learned already. I am gonna be kinda busy with finishing off my last semester though, but I'll try to find the time. Let me know when you're ready so I can see if it's a feasible time for both of us.

Man, I swear, every time I play this game I never get any DIY recipes from balloons. Not even the ones I've learned already.

I do have a bit of a busy schedule, I admit...but this RNG just isn't very friendly to me. Sorry, guys.

@TheJGG No I'm not going anywhere, lol. I still play it. I just really want to help others out. Especially with DIYs that I've learned already, but someone else could use.
