I finally learned all the snowboy DIYs!!! And I got them all before the new year. Not making another snowboy again, though.

@FattyWhale_42 Thanks, I gave it a look. Doesn't seem like anyone needs my silk hat colors though, only got the one request from Foxy.

@MarioLover92 Probably because we both have the same hats, and I got them to most already. xD

The winter festivities have inspired me to get into this game again, and I’m now putting the finishing touches on the last room of my house. I’m currently looking for a number of pieces of the antique furniture range in black (chair, clock, wardrobe, bureau, mini table), plus the imperial low table and decorate shelves (also in black). If anyone has these, I’d be happy to pay double the Nook prices for them! Or if there are any items/colour combinations you’re after, let me know.

Anyone else have/had a problem with villagers not putting up the wreaths you’ve made? Given Tia 3 of them now and her door is still bare.

@BrittGOAL14 Huh, I'm not sure. Last I saw, Bubbles still has her blue rose wreath hanging on her door and I made that for her. I'm guessing it has to do with how many items are in her house?

Building snowmen is too fiddly to be enjoyable. Seems like I can't get the snowballs to join how I want. They just roll away from each other and then randomly join together. I was trying to push two snowballs together, just now, but they just rolled backwards. The bottom was in danger of hitting a tree, so I attempted to roll it to a better spot, and the second, I touched it, it hopped on top and gave me an imperfect snowman. That's been my luck almost from the beginning. Very first snowman was perfect (beginner's luck, I guess). All the rest have been imperfect. I didn't have nearly this much trouble in New Leaf.

Good thing I don't care about any of the ice recipes, otherwise I would be frustrated over the lack of large snowflakes.

It seems like I'm the only one that actually finds building the snowmen easier in this game than in New Leaf. I remember making bad snowmen all the time in New Leaf, but I've only not made a perfect like 3 times in New Horizons, and all of those were when I had something to do in real life so I was trying to go fast and knew that I had screwed it up. It's good because after you have all the recipes they give you a completed piece of furniture, so that's less snowflakes I have to catch to craft enough to get all the customizations.

@Mountain_Man Agreed. The requirements for getting perfect snowboys are WAY too precise. I had particularly awful luck where I swore I had the snowballs the correct size...only for the game to tell me no when I joined the two. I did manage to get all the snowboy recipes at least...but I am never making a snowboy again in this game. Ever.
