Just wanted to say a huge thanks once again for taking part in our Rocket League event last night! ..sorry that I had to dip out a little earlier than usual (early start today) - but hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did!
Massive congratulations to @electrolite77 for winning the NL Cup🏆 for the first time! **standing ovation!** ..after two EPIC semi-finals (@NaviAndMii2-1@kosmaty & @electrolite773-2@Mintendo) - some ruthless finishing in the final saw you deservedly take the crown!
..and, to top things off, your impressive tally of 18 goals saw you equal the tournament goal-scoring record! ⚽ Bravo! ..with goals like this one in the final, it's little wonder!
It was great to try out cross-network play for the team matches afterwards too - took a couple of goes to get it set up - but, once we got going, it seemed to go pretty well (..and now that I know what to do, it should be a bit smoother next time!)
Most of the matches we're pretty close too - had an absolute blast! (..especially when I somehow managed to pull this off !!)

Just wanted to give everyone the heads-up that Fortnite has been added to our game rotation in the 'Week 1: Saturday' slot (rotating with Splatoon 2) - meaning that tomorrow evenings event has been changed to 'Fortnite...night!'
The plan will probably be to jump in at around 8:30pm BST (although, as it clashes with the World Cup match between Croatia and Nigeria, there may be a few late arrivals) ..feel free to join us over on our community Discord server if you'd like to take part (..link in my forum signature )
Have been pleasantly surprised by Fallout Shelter and has me craving Fallout 4 on Switch.
I wasn't going to download this again after playing it on the Xbox One... But I might grab it again just for something quick to play occasionally. Does it work with the touchscreen?
@NaviAndMii Would love to play with you guys as the Switch reinfected me with the Fortnite bug, but I gotta support my team and hopefully celebrate later on
Thanks again for organising chief. I think my goals scored tally was helped by @Superjoon having connection difficulties, then the final against you when I think every shot I hit went in!
Some of the 3v3 games were amazing. Went right to the wire.
I'm a child of the 80's which I would think puts me into the category of old time gamers... lol
I was around for the original NES (given to me as a Christmas gift) and then I sold a trading card to purchase an SNES.
I'm sure many of you old gamers like myself had the following two wishes for your games: 1. to be able to play them anywhere and 2. to be able to play them on some large TVs. The Switch gives us both of those wishes, so now we just need to see our old classics like Super Metroid on the Switch!
@ItsJustRave it does (although I've been using sticks) and it fits the screen nicely in habdheld mode. I downloaded it on Xbox One when it first released but never actually got around to playing it. Figured I would give it a go on Switch and find its been good for quick sessions.
@kosmaty@SonOfVon Sure, no problem! Fortnite seems to be one of the most popular games at the moment (and is now in our 'rotation') - so, even if you can't make it this evening, I'm sure there'll be plenty more opportunities in future
@NaviAndMii@iamcardboard Thanks for the Fortnite games fellas! It is more fun when you have a crew to run with. I thought solo was kind of boring, just a lot of hiding. Anyway here's a typical noob video. Ignore the guy I was shooting at with a shotgun and throw a grenade at someone else. I like how my victim stopped and just accepted his fate.
Puyo Puyo Tetris night is coming right up on Monday, June 18 at 930pm GMT (shortly after England's World Cup opener.) I'll be hosting a lobby and the password will be 1234. @Lroy@SonOfVon@wasilewski@Iamcardboard and anyone else who is interested. I think I read all of you have PPT and were interested in playing. I'll be looking at this forum as well as the Discord in @NaviAndMii 's signature if anyone has requests for game modes. I know basic Tetris much better than the other modes so I'll mostly choose that but we can try other modes too.
