Topic: Adult Switch Gamers

My apologies everyone - my system died and phone ran out of juice as well. Posting this through my iPod.
Sorry @NaviAndMii you were doing so well on 200cc! My bad need to remember to have a full charge before hosting.

Some highlights: First @naviandmii being chased by the world's fastest 200cc blue shell. It sounded like it was chasing you for a whole lap!

Then we have a CPU stealing the shine and hiding in the corner. Nope!

GGs all and thanks @Fafounet for being the host of a full 12 person lobby. I'll see some of you for Street Fighter tomorrow!

@Fafounet Oh, no problem at all - you'd said that might happen, so we assumed that was probably what it was ..seemed like a pretty convenient time to call it a night anyway as luck would have it - haha!

Thanks for hosting - awesome night! ..great chatting with you (and @iamcardboard) too - it was a good laugh! (..and everyone in the text chat too - great fun! )

Thanks to everyone who took part for making it the best Mario Kart Monday yet - we even managed our first full lobby! Hooray!

Okay. Just a reminder.

In case anyone is interested here. We are having an Adult Switch Gamers games night playing SF 30TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION tonight. I will create a lobby from 8:30pm UK Time. My North American brethren @Mauhlin12 will create another lobby around the same time.

Worth noting. There is a 4 player limit to lobbies. So we will start with two and ask other players to split off and create additional lobbies as needed. Folks can then just jump from one to another if they want to have a match against all people playing.

Also, the online performance of this game is improved drastically from the laggy experience many of you will have noticed if you play against people from your own continent.

Hence, I will create a lobby and suggest European players join me. Whereas, North American players would be better to join @Mauhlin12
Hope this is all clear and easy to understand.

Nice one, it really is great to see regular Nintendo gaming nights for adults and I'm dying to get involved. I don't play some of the games but will definitely join in for Mario Tennis..

@Lroy Oh I didn't think of that, thanks - I might try dropping in on voice chat sometime to get a feel of what's going on then. It's not possible to view the games as they're happening passively is it?

@andykara2003 We're playing SF 30TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION now. You can spectate each other's matches but obviously only in-game so not much help to you.

Here are some belated snippets of our MK8D action last night. Great fun, some mad drivers, and the competition has definitely gotten tougher for sure!! Sorry for the very sudden disconnect - I need to make a mental note that 96% switch battery is not enough when hosting an undocked Mario Kart night and phone using discord voice chat (great fun by the way) really drains the battery!

By the way, congrats to all who participated as I believe it is our first MK8D full lobby!
