Speaking of @JBS-Dad I actually managed to play a few 2v2 ranked games with him during my lunch break today. As usual he made sure we won more than we lost despite the inherent disadvantage of pairing up with me 😜

Generally favoured a more defensive approach (unfortunately I didn't manage to capture any of his great saves ) - but chipped in with some valuable goals as well, like the one below!

There's some really impressive players on here which I've been lucky enough to team-up with or play vs. against. Playing in such company always helps to higlight areas of my own game I need to improve e.g. Timing, Defending, Aerial Play ... it's a long list, lol!

ROCKET LEAGUE is a game I hadn't ever touched prior to its Switch launch late last year. Picked it up on a whim simply because it was very reasonably priced. Had a lot of fun with it already. Incredible value in terms of game play hours invested for price of entry.

Destined to be a stable along with stuff like MARIO KART 8 DELUXE and SPLATOON 2 in terms of my list of pick-up and play online games perennially given game time throughout the life-cycle of the Switch.
