The narrative that Nintendo owners don’t want or play mature games
Does this narrative really still exist in the Switch era? Because tons of mature games (including the GTA trilogy) have been ported to the Switch, and even Nintendo themselves have published some games with swear words, sexuality and other "non-kiddie" content, such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Bayonetta 3.
@Polvasti Yeah it kinda still does exist. It’s not something that’s just going to disappear either. It’s too ingrained after three decades starting with Sega’s marketing campaigns in the early 90s

@CJD87 Id absolutely love the Monkey Island series (the LucasArts ones at least) to come to Switch 2. Potentially a hot take, but I don’t like the remasters they did about 15 years back for first two. I would like to see them all remastered though and sold in a package.

@Polvasti it exist enough. There are still many people that don’t think Nintendo wants a mainline GTA on their console. I personally don’t count the trilogy that was released a couple of years ago. This is the biggest IP in gaming. Having a successful version on Nintendo changes a lot.

I don't disagree with your second sentence, but the biggest IP in gaming is not GTA rather than one Nintendo already owns. I'm sure you know which one.
@FragRed IIRC you can toggle the 'remaster' aesthetics back/forth with the original looks? At least you could on Steamdeck..... I actually liked the remasters, but glad they included that feature for the purists out there
I've been saying this pretty much throughout Switch 1's entire life cycle...I want Kid Icarus Uprising! I believe now with the mouse controls it's even more of a possibility! C'mon, Nintendo! Take my money!
This fire is burning and it's out of control. It's not a problem you can stop it's Rock and Roll!!!
Seems unlikely for any of these to actually happen, but I still have wishful thinking.

I was talking with a friend online because I want to play co-op with them and they have Baldur's Gate 3, I'd like to play it with them but I don't have a device for it. So yeah, I want this on Switch 2 now.
Older Pokémon games I guess, though a way to play Zelda Ocarina of Time without paying for the Expansion Pack would be lovely.
