I registered to be a part of the draw for the Switch 2 hands-on event in my city yesterday.
What a pain. The site kept loading and crashing, and my Nintendo account profiles weren’t showing up properly. I have to assume it was because so many people were signing up at once.
Did anyone else get a draw placement successfully? I figured we could share our experiences at the event here if/when any of us get to go. For now I guess we could discuss the registration process and our hopes for the event.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (3DS)
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Switch)
Metroid Zero Mission (GBA)
I have a draw entry in for the London event on the Saturday. Other than not going live quite when they said it would, I did not have a problem after that. Not sure how many spots there are, but it is a large venue. Guess we will know in a few weeks if we got in!
Hope all NL people who enter get a spot
@Mana-Knight you’ll have to keep us updated! I entered for the London Saturday morning slot but I wasn’t lucky. Oh well, means I don’t have to go on the tube for an hour 🤣
Pretty crazy if you ask me. How did Nintendo not realize this would happen? It was stated in the NDA that they can’t sell the tickets, but some people just didn’t listen.
Even worse if the tickets don’t have names of the people who got them, making it easier for a person who didn’t initially register bring the resold tickets to the events and register them as part of their account to gain entry.
