Hi guys. With Red Dead Redemption 1 getting a free upgrade to Switch 2 version of game, I am thinking about getting it. My question is, how is performance of game now on Switch 2 (The Switch 1 version)? Also, is there "aim assist" or anything like that in Red dead? Thoughts appreciated

@OmegaX83 Game runs great - it's really a solid port. For the aim assist question...it's the same as what was originally released.... which I believe includes aim assist (I could be wrong). If you are at all interested in the game, it's already worth it IMO...the free upgrade path is just icing on the cake!

Thanks so much for the info! I think I will get it. The Switch 1 version clocks in at around 11GB. Do you know, or have heard anything about the Switch 2 version storage size?

@OmegaX83 nice - I think you'll enjoy it
No idea on the SW2 version file size, that's not available yet. Hopefully it's not too much larger, but who knows?

@OmegaX83 At the time of writing this, the US store has the same file size for the Switch 2 version as for the Switch 1.

Game file size
Nintendo Switch: 11.6 GB
Nintendo Switch 2: 11.6 GB

Not sure if this is accurate though.

Hi again guys. Today, I noticed that Tomb Raider: DE shadow dropped today. I never played that Tomb Raider before. My question now is, should I get Tomb Raider, or Red Dead 1? Right now, I only have enough money on my eShop Account to get 1 of them, as I have another 80 in eShop set aside for Metroid Prime 4. Thoughts and help greatly appreciated

It could be I guess, on PC you get the same game size but on a low end pc you run it at very low detail levels and low resolution but on a powerful pc all the options are high and the resolution is better. I've played PC games like that and the difference can be dramatic.
