You may find it strange, but I would like to play Kirby and the forgotten land switch 2 edition, but without the star crossed world DLC, it makes the world uglier in my opinion, but i want to play the game at 60fps.
Is it possible to not enable the SCW DLC on the game and simply play the game Kirby and the forgotten land just how it was on the switch 1, but with enhanced graphics?
I just started a new save file to check and the DLC content was not triggered. I played past the introductory level. Before that when I went into the main world from my other save file (in which I finished the game) though, it immediately triggered the new content. But even then both the original content and the remixed levels are separate and can be individually selected. Hope this helps!
According to NL's walkthrough guide, Star-Crossed World content is automatically unlocked after you beat the boss of the first World, but it can easily be ignored it seems.

@SamySwitch, to answer that question, it does appear that most people who like Forgotten Land like Star-Crossed World, is what I noticed. It's often the case that someone who likes a series / game likes everything new involving said media 😃.

I'm a first time Kirby player and so far I'm enjoying it on my S2, clocked in about 6-8 hours and finished the game to the credits and I'm now on to the Star Crossed bit I think. I am finding the game a bit easy, some bosses took me a few attempts but finished them off with a lot of mindless button bashing.
It's a cute fun game and I'm going to finish it to the end but I don't think I'll continue beyond that, I'm not going to go back and collect everything to 100% the game, it's a good game but not one that I will be dedicating a lot of time on like I do with Bananza. Nice to have in my collection though.
