Topic: problem moving virtual game cards to switch 2

Needing some help here. Of course, bought a switch 2 and problem with transferring virtual game cards to switch2. Keeps telling us to link systems no matter how close! We did a transfer of data already - but the MarioKart world virtual game card ended up on the old switch and we cannot move it to the switch 2! Nintendo support closed on Christmas (of course). Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

You need to link the systems first. That's why it keeps telling you to link the systems first.

This means they both need to be updated to latest firmware, and both have the same user account on it. If they don't both share the same user account, they can't link, though you can still loan games out for 14 days to unlinked systems. But loaning VGC is a different process than loading back and forth between linked systems.
